Chris Nichols recently spoke at The International Business School at Lynn University located in Boca Raton, FL. The ‘Meet the CEO Series’ is a ongoing series where Chief Executive Officers are invited to share their thoughts, ideas and motivations towards becoming a successful CEO. Chris spoke about entrepreneurship, key success factors as well as his experiences of starting a company. The lecture was held for 150 students and professors.
Chris Nichols recently participated in the 8th Annual “Boca’s Ballroom Battle”. He danced the night away in efforts to raise funds for The George Snow Scholarship Fund in order to help the most deserving and brightest students in the area to go to college.

November 1st & 2nd, Anastasia hit the road with over 2,000 cyclists in the Annual 2 day Tri-County Dolphin Cycle Challenge to help raise funds for lifesaving cancer research at the Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center.

On November 5th, Chris Nichols was the guest speaker at the General Membership meeting for the Broward County Society of Plastic Surgeons. His topic was “Exemption Planning for Asset Protection: Annuities, Insurance, etc.”
Our Business Development Director, Anastasia K. Merkel and her teammates in Jackie’s Striders, joined hundreds of supporters in Ft Lauderdale on Saturday Oct 12 to help make a difference by walking and raising money in the local American Cancer Society Making Strides against Breast Cancer event. Jackie’s Striders ranked top 3 in sponsorship and raised $15,086. This group marches every year in memory of their childhood friend and former event chair Jackie Kline Goodman.
On August 21st, Chris and Anna attended Light up the Night to benefit Junior Achievement of South Florida.
August 8th and 9th Chris attended The Shaner Charity Golf Tournament which benefitted the JB Griffin Memorial Foundation (JB was the CFO of Shaner for many years and a longtime friend) who is disbursing funds to the Tides Program which provides grief counseling to children who have lost a family member.
Chris and his guest, Raul Pupo, attended the third annual Fellows Society Induction Ceremony to honor and acknowledge Nova’s legacy benefactors and induct their new members into the Fellows Society.
