About Me
Maureen’s value to clients is her attention to detail, her organizational skills and her decades of customer relationship experience – with the government, school volunteer positions, and her current role.
She graduated from the University of Michigan with a BA in history and psychology and received an MA in Russian history and Russian studies from Indiana University. Prior to joining Bill’s practice, she was an analyst for more than a decade at the CIA before taking time off to raise two daughters. Once the youngest was in college Maureen returned to the workforce and was hired by Bill as his Customer Relationship Manager.
Maureen is passionate about reading and streaming movies and shows. She likes to read literary fiction, sci fi, fantasy, international fiction, classics, and history. Some of her favorite authors include Anthony Trolloppe, Colson Whitehead, Iain Banks, and Jane Austen.
She has been in a Bible Study group for over 25 years and has volunteered at Cenacolo (an addiction recovery program), The Bridge (an afterschool program for Jacksonville’s inner-city children) and Beaches Emergency Assistance Ministry.
Favorite foods include French and Italian food and cookies. She likes trying new recipes but has been making the same coffee cake for Christmas morning for over 30 years – everyone loves it.
More than anything, Maureen is family motivated, prioritizing time with friends and family, especially her daughters and grandchildren. She believes her daughters are her greatest accomplishment.
